The Ministry of Youth launches 17 digital services in collaboration with Echo Technology

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Youth, Mr. Mohammed Al-Nabulsi, and His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hanandeh, the Ministry of Youth launched its digital services in collaboration with Echo Technology. The ceremony was held on Thursday, March 30, at Ya Hala Hall in Al Hussein Youth City, and was attended by Echo Technology Managing director, Eng. Yousef Alem, the Secretary General of Youth Ministry, Dr. Hussein Al-Jabour, and the Secretary General of the Olympics committee, Naseer Al-Bataineh. as well as representatives from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

According to Al-Nabulsi, the digital services launch is the first step towards automating all the services provided by the Ministry of Youth. The services included digitalizing the youth centers membership services, which are the main arm of the ministry through which plans, programs, and projects emanating from the National Youth Strategy are implemented, in addition to the services of the Youth Leadership Preparation Center, including water rescue and sports training.

Al-Nabulsi also pointed out that the digital transformation today translates the royal vision in the economic and public sector modernization, in which youth are a fundamental pillar, stressing the necessity to raise the quality level of services provided to citizens and improve the efficiency of the general administration.

For his side, Al Hanandeh assured the role of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Youth in developing and serving the youth sector. Through the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Strategy and the Executive Plan 2021-2025, he explained; working on improving the provision of government services and raising government performance efficiency, indicating that the strategy includes the government's vision to stimulate further digital transformation and develop the digital economy by relying on a set of basic measures and capabilities to achieve its vision.

The ceremony consisted of a workshop describing the project’s services which includes, four main services from which 17 sub-services emerge, consisting of membership services for youth centers, water rescue services, sports training, and sport fitness. The event also included a demonstration of how to use the newly launched digital services.
